Okay, so I was assigned my Art Exam task in January and I had a whole 10 weeks to make a book full of prep work.
Naturally, I didn't do any work until a week before the exam, which was today and yesterday. BUT, I somehow managed to finish it all.
The exam was GREAT. I finished my piece in the first three hours of the ten hour exam, which I though was bad, but, personally, it looked A LOT better than a lot of people's in the room.
My piece was a somewhat chibi version of myself in a kimono of sorts with big, beautiful, blue butterfly wings. It turned out much better than I expected and, for once, I actually LIKE some of my own work. *0*
I'll be able to add it to DeviantArt in October, but not before; the exam board says that that's the only time I can collect it. I have no idea why. I'm leaving the school that I did it in in a few weeks, so I'll have to go back some random day and collect it. It'll be weird.
But yeah, it was great and I'm really pleased...that is, until I get my grade and find out it's only worth, like, a C. Dx
But yeah, OPTIMISM!

Also, I've found out that a group of people from varying lower years than me find me adorable.
